60th Anniversary Riverside County Cocktail Reception

Friday, September 29, 2023
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Avalon Hotel Palm Springs
Palm Springs, CA

Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is proud to recognize 60 years of service in our communities. Our local affiliate has grown from an information booth in Balboa Park, San Diego, to the most trusted name in sexual and reproductive health care, with 19 – and soon to be 20 – health centers across three counties, a strong education program, and the most committed advocates for rights and justice.

Join us in Palms Springs for an engaging evening featuring an educational program, live music by The B Sections, and "Artists for Planned Parenthood" exhibition. Our 60th Anniversary Cocktail Reception will be a community-wide celebration, reflecting on the past and looking toward the future, uplifting our passionate staff, brave patients, and committed supporters, including you!

Thank you for your interest in this sold-out event! Registration is now closed.

For more information, contact [email protected] or (619) 881-5008.

Join the Host Committee

Join the Host Committee for the 60th Anniversary Cocktail Reception and add your name to the list of reproductive rights champions and friends who stand with Planned Parenthood. By joining the Host Committee, you directly help support essential sexual and reproductive health care for patients in Riverside County, as well as patients coming from our neighboring state of Arizona and beyond.

Artists for Planned Parenthood 2023 Exhibition

This year the Artists for Planned Parenthood series theme is “Reproductive Freedom” and includes artwork from artists throughout the country. Over 130 artists applied and 11 were selected – their powerful work includes poetry, short films, a mural, digital designs, and more.

Artists for Planned Parenthood is an annual project that provides a creative outlet for hope, rage, and strength – a space to process and hear different perspectives on reproductive health, rights, and justice.

Entertainment

The B Sections are a 5-piece funk-soul band that captures the high energy fun and grooviness of the classic pop-soul groups of the 20th century including Earth Wind and Fire, Prince, Hall & Oates, and many more.
